| As respoonsible citizens we need to look at a reliable and constant sources of revenue to run this state. I am open to any suggestions. If we had put a casino in Salem years ago, we could have accomplioshed much. There are no programs left to cut, and there is so much that needs to be done. Treatment of mental health issues, education, roads, bridges. We need to expand benefits for Medicaid recipients, not cut them. There is no support for family members or care givers who are taking care of the elderly, or an extremely ill family member. | |||

| No | e) Do you support imposing penalties on state legislators who fail to attend legislative sessions? | ||
| Members of the House have family issues and get sick, just like everyone else. Everyone is going to miss a few sessions, it is unavoidable. But when absenteeism is chronic then, this needs to be addressed. | |||

| We have serious probelms with gun violence. Of course we need to expand background checks, ban assault weapons, reinstate the Brady Bill. The Gun legislation that was promoted by the Republican Legislature and the Republican Governor to allow college students to carry weapons on campuses, is frankly insane, and viciously irresponsible. To allow any person to open carry a loaded weapon? You don't need to know a great deal about gun violence statistics to understand how dangerous these ideas are. | |||

| My top three priorities, are ending gun violence through common sense legislation. We need to protect our environment and expand wind and solar projects. NH never looked at the wind farms 50 miles out to sea. It is the only state on the Eastern Seaboard, to not put the initiative on the ballot. Again, Our Republican Governor. We need full day kindergarten acroos the state, make the systems equitable, providing each child the opportunity for an excellent education. I am open to all ideas to general full funding for NH. |
